Kajaji Senior High School has successfully held an orientation programme for its newly admitted Form One students, formally welcoming them into the school community and preparing them for life on campus.
The programme was designed to help the new students settle in quickly and understand what is expected of them as members of the school. It brought together the school administration, teaching and non-teaching staff, prefects, parents, and guardians.
During the orientation, the students were taken through the school's rules and regulations, the code of conduct, and the daily routine. They were also told about the academic calendar, the importance of punctuality, and the standards of dress and behaviour expected of every student.
The school prefects were present to introduce themselves to the new students. The School Prefect, Tignanikube David Tignanaaba, welcomed the new students on behalf of the student body and assured them of the prefects' support as they settle into school life. He urged them to respect the school's rules and to approach the prefects whenever they need guidance.
Teachers and prefects then guided the new students on a tour of the school's facilities, including classrooms, dormitories, the dining hall, the library, and the laboratories, so that they would become familiar with their new environment.
Addressing the students, the Headmaster, Mr Daniel Kwadwo Manu, welcomed them to the school and congratulated them on gaining admission. He urged them to take their studies seriously, respect school authorities and one another, and make good use of the opportunities available to them.
Mr Manu stressed that discipline, hard work, and respect are the foundations of success, and cautioned the students against indiscipline and bad company. He also encouraged them to take part in extracurricular activities such as sports, clubs, and societies to develop their talents and leadership skills.
The Assistant Headmaster in charge of Academics, Mr Augustine Dampah Bazirizii, also spoke to the students about the school's academic expectations. He advised them to be punctual, attend classes regularly, do their assignments on time, and seek help from their teachers whenever they face difficulties in their studies.

The parents and guardians present were advised to support their wards with their academic needs, monitor their progress, and work closely with the school for the success of their children. The Headmaster thanked them for their trust in the school and for their continued support.
Some of the new students said they felt welcomed and were excited to begin their journey at Kajaji Senior High School. They expressed their readiness to abide by the school's rules and to work hard to make their parents and teachers proud.
School authorities expressed satisfaction with the turnout and the smooth running of the programme. They thanked the staff, prefects, parents, and all who contributed to its success.
